Ed Slowey's GR-40 '03 Cobra Ed is one of those great guys that just calls and says "I have a new Cobra with a Kenne Bell Whipple charger, can you make it handle better?" Can we ever! We gave it the full Griggs treatment (Griggs GR-40 coil-over suspension, Griggs hybrid 8.8 decambered straight axle,Kooks/Griggs stainless steel headers, Kinesis 18" three piece wheels, Pirelli P-Zero tires, D&D/Viper six speed transmission, and custom three inch X-pipe exhaust with Hooker Aerochamber mufflers. With all that power available, we convinced Ed to let us put some Baer/Alcon brakes on it. An incredibly fast (over 700 rear wheel horsepower at last report), well handling machine that stops as well as it goes. Last we've heard, Ed is having a blast with it!
