CONGRATULATIONS TO MATT FOR WINNING FIRST PLACE AT THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA SHELBY CLUB'S MINI NATS CAR SHOW!!!!!
This is Matt Richter's '65 GR-350 convertible. We originally restored and upgraded this car ten years ago and it has since been featured in "Mustang and Fords" November 2001 issue. Last year we added about 100 horsepower (completely new engine), bigger brakes, and the full coil-over, rack and pinion, torque-arm and panhard rod suspension. This is the first convertible GR-350 ever built and does not exibit any cowl shake or vibration common to early Mustang convertibles. We also added a Diablo sport computer chip custom programmed for this engine combination. Matt drives the crap out of this car out in the San Francisco bay area and is very happy with it (right Matt?). Two of the pictures are copies of the magazine article taken after phase one of the buildup.
